Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 29, 2026

Otter Pouch builds family-friendly games. We also believe you shouldn't have to trade your personal information to play them. Our games don't ask for an account, don't run ads, and don't track you. This policy explains what that means in practice.

What we collect

Nothing, in the day-to-day sense. We don't collect your name, email address, location, or device identifiers. We don't use analytics SDKs or third-party trackers, and we don't serve advertising. When you play one of our games, your progress stays on your device.

iCloud and save data

Some of our games let you enable iCloud to sync and back up your save data across your own devices. When you turn that on, Apple handles the storage and sync under your own Apple ID, following Apple's privacy policy. We never see or receive that data.

Game Center

If one of our games connects to Apple's Game Center for achievements or leaderboards, that happens entirely through your Apple ID and is governed by Apple. We don't run our own leaderboard or store Game Center data ourselves.

Push notifications

A game may offer optional notifications (say, a gentle nudge when your garden needs water). These are opt-in, and you can turn them off any time in your device's settings. We don't send marketing messages through them.

Children

Our games are designed to be enjoyed by the whole family, kids included. Because we don't collect personal information at all, there's nothing to worry about there — no accounts to create, no chats, and no in-game purchases of personal data.

Data we might see if you contact us

If you email us at [email protected], we'll see your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use that only to reply to you, and we don't add it to any marketing list. We never sell or share any information, because there isn't any to sell.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how our games handle data, we'll update this page and note the new date at the top. If a change meaningfully affects you, we'll find a way to tell you before it takes effect.

Questions
